Did you know you can add labels to a post in Seesaw, have your students copy & edit the post, then they can access the labels and move them around on their own copy?! Super cool for word scrambles, word sorts, and labeling images. After they copy & edit the post, they just need to select the label tool in order to open it and be able to move the labels around. See the example below! And if you like this pumpkin example, you can
access the image here for use in your own classroom. (Choose File > Download As > .jpg to create an image that you can upload to your Seesaw class.)

Hi Sue! Yep, I created the pumpkin image in Google Drawings. If you want a copy, you can find it here: http://bit.ly/2l6tKz0 (Once you make a copy, choose File > Download as > .jpeg). I then put this image into Seesaw, then chose the label tool and added the labels I wanted students to use. Then I posted to the class journal. Students used copy & edit to open the post, then the label tool so they could move them where they belong and post to their journals. It was quite simple! The new activities feature in Seesaw would also make this simple - you would follow the same general steps but instead post in the activities area and share with students that way. DeleteThank you for sharing. I am trying to do something similar and am adding a file (google slide for template) and it does not give me the option to label....just record or add caption. Any suggestions?
Hi! Make sure you are uploading an image file - you can't add labels or draw on a PDF. If you're in Google Slides, go to File > Download as > .jpeg Upload the .jpeg file to Seesaw, and then you should have the option to add labels. :)
