We have a big problem with students not returning their library books to school. Students cannot check out a new book unless they return the book they already have. If you cannot find the book, you will need to pay the school for the cost of replacing the book. We go to library each Wednesday (unless it is an early out day), so this is the day books should be returned. It is a good idea to put the book back into your child's backpack after reading it together, or to keep library books in a special place in your home, so they are not lost.
If you have any questions, please contact me at email@example.com or Mrs. O'Brien, our librarian, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!
