Seesaw Activities Galore!

Activities in Seesaw are awesome for so many ways, but maybe my very favorite is the fact that they are so easily SHAREABLE! I love being able to create an activity, then share the link with others to use in their classrooms. Some awesome BPS TILT (Teachers Integrating & Learning Technology) teachers and I decided to start a database of activities, organized by grade level, to share all of these creations with other teachers. TILT Applications are Open!

We are excited to announce that applications for the 2017-18 TILT program are open to Billings Public Schools K-8 teachers. TILT (Teachers Integrating & Learning Technology) is an innovative three-year professional development program to help teachers purposefully integrate technology into their classrooms to improve student learning. Make "My School" Books Using the Book Creator App

Our Phase 2 TILT group visited Mrs. Rott's 2nd graders at Broadwater Elementary and helped them make some amazing books about their school using the app Book Creator. Click the link below for a wonderful guide on using Book Creator made by Linda Bernard of Redefining Learning.

Book Creator costs $4.99, but is truly one of my favorite apps to use in the classroom. The possibilities for creating across all areas of your curriculum are endless, and the the app is suitable for users of all ages. It's simple enough for young learners, but has plenty of customization features to make it a good choice for older kids, too. Read on to see some examples of these awesome books!

All About That GAFE Participate Learning Collection from Haddy Wanner

Alkali Creek 2nd grade teacher and TILT member Haddy Wanner put together this awesome collection of resources for using GAFE in primary.  Participate Learning is an awesome place to search for resources (you can search by grade level, subject area, skill, etc) and also to share digital tools you use in your classrooms!  It's super easy to use and a great way to share favorite websites, apps, videos and lesson resources for particular concepts or subject areas.
