Beginning of the Year Apps for K-2

Here is a collection of some tried and true learning apps to get you started for the year! Remember to be intentional when using technology in your classroom. Always consider your purpose, and how it relates to student learning. Email me or book me into your classroom for help getting started!

Seesaw Courses for Beginners

Seesaw knows it's a busy time of year for all teachers so they wanted to offer even more ways to get started using Seesaw. They created a mini-course called Seesaw 101 for teachers brand new to Seesaw. It's available to any Seesaw user for FREE. Completing the course will take about 30 minutes. Teachers simply create a Seesaw account then go to app.seesaw.me/courses to sign in and get started! Share with anyone that can benefit.

Directed Drawing on Seesaw

When I saw this on Pinterest, I fell in love with the adorable school bus directed drawing activity by Proud to be Primary. 

It occurred to me that a directed drawing activity like this one would be a perfect way to introduce the Seesaw drawing tool to students! By giving them step by step directions, I could ensure they were using all of the features in the drawing tool and seeing how they could create something amazing! We created these little beauties in Mr. Anderson's first grade today.
