Super Bowl Party

The Super Bowl party, hosted by Tami Workman and Bennette Johnson, is postponed until this Friday, February 4th. Thanks to those of you who have already sent in supplies! Remember to have your kindergartner wear their favorite team colors to school on Friday. We will graph our favorite teams.

Friday is also when we will celebrate our 100th day of school. We will practice counting to 100 several times throughout the day. It should be a very fun day in kindergarten!

Apples!

The week of September 27-October 1st, we will be learning about the letter Aa and all about apples! On Wednesday the 29th, we will have an apple taste testing in our room. We will need red, green and yellow apples for the students to taste, so we can graph and write about our favorites.

On Friday, we will make applesauce in our classroom, and will need apples and cinnamon. If you can send in any of these supplies, please do! If we end up with lots of apples, we'll have them for snack another day. The kids LOVE them!!

Thanks for your help!
