Awesomely, the biggest request I've received since the beginning of the school year is to come into classrooms and help teachers get started with Seesaw. Wahoo! I absolutely love helping students begin keeping digital portfolios of their work. And I love that teachers are excited about Seesaw! For those of you who want to learn more, or who used it a little bit last year and want a refresher, I am having a Seesaw training on October 13th. We will begin at 4:00pm, and meet in room 301 of Lincoln Center.
We will meet from 4:00-5:00pm at Lincoln Center to go over some Seesaw basics. From 5:00-6:00pm we will participate together in a #Seesawchat on Twitter, engaging with colleagues who use Seesaw around the country. The additional hour of course time will be earned by completing tasks that I assign to you. These tasks will involve creating lessons to use in your classroom with Seesaw, implementing them in your class, and then uploading photos and reflections to a Seesaw journal created for our training. I am really excited about this, as it will allow more hands-on implementation of what you are learning.
If you have questions, please email me. You can sign up using the form below. If you are planning to use for step up, please remember to complete the credit request form before attending.
