Going to the Zoo!
We are excited to go to ZooMontana on Friday the 25th! We will leave school at 9:30 a.m. and return around 1:30 or 2:00 p.m. Kindergartners will eat lunch at the zoo. If you did not return your slip indicating whether or not you will be packing your child a lunch, then a sack lunch was ordered for you.
Remember to dress your child in comfortable clothing and shoes that is appropriate for the weather that day. If you would like to send sunscreen or a water bottle, you are welcome to do so. Sometimes kindergartners like to bring cameras. This is fine, but please remind your son or daughter that they are responsible for taking care of their things.
The cost of admission is $3.25/person. This includes a free "lunch and learn" session with one of the animal handlers. If you are attending as a chaperone, your cost is also $3.25 and you have to COMPLETE THE BACKGROUND PAPERWORK FOR VOLUNTEERS, available from the office.
Cick here for a great song by Raffi about going to the zoo that we have been learning in class!
