1 Fish, 2 Fish Addition
Today we used goldfish crackers to practice addition on these fish mats. Most of the kids did a great job of using the fish as manipulatives to help them figure out the addition problems. Several of the kids didn't need to use the fish at all! Great job!

Felt Board App
We have used this cool Feltboard app to build words (CVC words and sight words) and then post onto our Kidblog. Today I also gave the kids time to play with the app, using its features to create scenes and then write sentences or stories on their Kidblogs. What a fun app!

What is an Engineer?
After finishing our Jack and the Beanstalk activity for Project Lead the Way, I asked the kids today "What is an engineer?" I absolutely loved their responses! You can see all of them on Twitter @MrsPiltzK
We also used a fun new app, Chatterpix Kids, to record our ideas and post to our Kidblogs. Please take the time to check them out - they really turned out great!
