End of the Year Celebration
A reminder that our end of the year celebration will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd in our classroom. The students will be singing a song, reading their "Me I Want to Be" poems, and receiving end of the year awards. We encourage your child to dress in his/her best for this fun afternoon. Kindergarten Favorites
We have been collaborating with Mrs. Bishop's kindergarten at Broadwater Elementary to make a book of the important things about kindergarten, or our #kindergartenfaves. The kids Tweeted and Skyped their ideas, then wrote and drew their favorites. We then put the writing into the Book Creator app, where we will be able to combine all of their ideas into one big eBook. I loved Brenna's favorite ... Project Lead the Way! :) Yay, Brenna!

New App
Yesterday we introduced a new app called Teach Me: Math Facts. This provides practice leading to fluency in math facts for addition and subtraction (also multiplication and division if you have older kids). They have really been enjoying this app! It is $1.99.

End of Year Celebration
On Tuesday, June 2nd, we will have a special End of Kindergarten Celebration in our classroom at noon. Ms. Heather is helping us decorate and prepare for this event, so it should be really special. The kids will be singing a song and reading a poem they will write about what they want to be when they grow up. We will also hand out some special end of the year awards. We hope you can join us!
