Items Needed for Playing Outside :)

If you would like to donate some items to our classroom, the following would be helpful for outside play: chalk, bubbles, bubble wands, old jump ropes, Frisbees, etc. that you are no longer using. THANK YOU to everyone who has already donated items!

The kindergartners did such a great job at our Dr. Seuss program on Friday! I couldn't get the whole program to post online, so I have 3 videos of the kindergartners performing their poems. Thanks again to everyone who attended!

Spirit Day 3/16/12

Tomorrow's student council sponsored Spirit Day is to wear green! Also, don't forget our Dr. Seuss program in the classroom at 1:15.

Pajama Day 3/15/12

The students earned a pajama day for tomorrow 3/15/12. They can wear school appropriate pajamas. Be sure to send coats and shoes for outdoor play. The kids can bring a stuffed animal, as well.

Sidewalk Chalk

As the weather gets warmer, a fun activity is to practice our writing outside using sidewalk chalk. We go through the chalk rather quickly, as the kids love this activity! If you would like to donate sidewalk chalk to our classroom, it would be appreciated. Thank you!

Dr. Seuss Program

Please mark your calendars for Friday, March 16th. We will be having a small Dr. Seuss program in our room at 1:15. The kindergartners will read you the poems they have been writing. We will eat treats and read Dr. Seuss stories together.

Also, if you are willing to help make treats, please let me know. I have found several fun Dr. Seuss-themed treat ideas and would like help making them! :) Thank you.
